Week 4 (Part 2) - Hashutites Score Late To Secure Historic Win

Hashutites survived a scare in the searing heat against the Crescent Moon's vampires, as they capitalised on a fantastical play by the rookie bull, Bultar the Great. It continues their incredible run of consecutive victories and clean sheets to 7.

The wrath of the Caliph upon his charge in the aftermath against Bognor Bograts, made impact as they played their most promising defensive display this season. It took one moment of incredible luck to finally break the resolute sanguinarian defenders.

Pre-match, the Hashutite High Priest stated, "We're hoping the big bull (Ferdinand II) does some of the lifting this time. And as long as they (Crescent Moon) bite each other or the dust, we're good."

With the killer Ali missing and Uthman knocked out from the whistle, it was thrall Ertugrul, with his imposing physique, who turned in a stellar performance in defence as he took up the mantle of responsibility to blitz free teammates as well as soaking up the chaos dwarfen pressure. His last ditch tackle prevented his side going behind at the stroke of half-time. It was the first time this season that the powerful Hashutites offense was stopped in it's tracks.

Inspired by the elfish playbook, the Crescent Moon began the second half passing and stretching the Hashutites' defence. It worked to a point as a deep pass to Osman Ghazi was inches away from converting. But the blitzing bull, Marnak, smashed through the screen to force fumble the ball off-field.

Bultar ran the length of the field to score the late winner.

A talented hobgoblin in the stands threw the most succulent pass back into play and into the wondrous one-handed catch from Bultar at the edge of his own endzone. No doubt, the coach was impressed and we may see the greenskin enslaved and soon on the field!

With the whole field open to run through, and the Moon's players dispersed, it was the easiest of run ins to score the winner in the last minute of the match.

The High Priest of Hashutite was not impressed with Ferdinand.

Crescent Moon will feel hard done by, but the Caliph will be satisfied by the performance, albeit his team remains at the foot of the table without a point. With hopes fading for a play-off spot, the Caliph will demand compensation and there will be no better chance to fill the harem as they square up to the Amazone Prime next week.

Hashutites will be facing the very organised wall of OrcaLoca, who have aspirations of a play-off spot but find themselves in distant 7th. Can the Chaos Dwarf add to their phenomenal run of 7 consecutive shutouts?

Mango's Valuable Player: Ertugrul was instrumental in rallying his ragged comrades and even contributed to injuring the minotaur. Indeed it was his tackle that prevented Bultar's first attempt to score late in the first half. The High Priest of Hashutite was not impressed.
