Following on from the QMLS Ballon C'law for best play....the next award goes to the BEST PLAYER of the season or for a better word, the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER - MVP.
Below is a shortlist of the players who have excelled for their teams throughout the season and have made it to the final vote.
Each coach has three casting votes of the three players that they think is deservedly to be named the QMLS' MVP.
QMLS XI - MVP
In the inaugural QMLS Ballon C'Law, the following players have made the shortlist for the Most Valuable Player with each coach choosing their top three in order (without picking their own race / players).
Bognor Bograts:
Snablutch Slobber ~ the first ever star player in the QMLS. Gutter runner Slobber is one of the quartet of the famed and also feared runners and is one of the teams best scorers and is the leagues joint best tackler.
Head-Lhyce Creep ~ The latest QMLS star and last seasons most valuable player, the mutant runner has been at times unplayable, his mutations of a big hand and two heads has made ball handlers fear the mutants capabilities and is one of the leagues leading scorers.
Gruff Rhiyz-Jones ~ The star runner is the Bograts defensive weapon with his additional strength and his skill set making him a threat to every ball carrier in the league and even leads the team in knock outs.
Darklands Resurrected:
Marrowravager ~ The ghoul has been in devastating form this season and is one of the leagues leading scorers and tops the charts for yards rushing, but also leads the team in passing, passes received and yards passing.
Dagg the Unfortunate ~ The mummy is one of the most feared players in the league with unmatched strength with opposition coaches always wary of his capabilities on the line of scrummage as leads the team in knock outs, casualties and deaths.
EcuKhemrical Matters:
Phahsut Tabra ~ The thro-ra is the teams leading scorer along with rushing yards, passes, passing yards and passes received but his statistics are proof of the tomb kings ability in protecting their prize asset.
Sebek the Eastern Orthodox ~ The tomb guardian is one of the feared EcuKhemrical and leads the league in knock outs and is the perfect shield for Tabra.
Golden Eternals of Chaqua:
Oatluax du Lac ~ The diminutive skink has proved to be the thorn in many teams sides this season and is the teams leading scorer and rusher and has proved very illusive to most.
Krocyutc ~ The huge kroxigor is a serious threat to all and is normally the focal point of many teams attacks and is one of the league best tacklers with opposing players wary of his huge prehensile tail.
Hashutites:
Fharlakk Dyingfeet ~ The star chaos dwarf has had another stand out season and is feared throughout the league for one simple thing... the dwarfs mutation, which has seen him grow huge claws. Claws that do serious damage and is one of the league leaders for casualties.
Ögedei ~ The hobgoblin has served his masters superbly this season and is the teams leading rusher along with joint top scorer. Pretty impressive stuff for a slave.
Bultar the Great ~ The bull centaurs of Hashutites are known to all and are marked bulls every time they step out on the field though this still hasn't stopped Bultar becoming the teams joint leading scorer.
LTs Metal Heads:
Devin Townsend ~ The Heads leader on the pitch and when ball in hand is just as equal to passing or running with opposing players left to wonder what he'll do, with team leading stats in both pass completions, passing yards and rushing.
Melvins ~ The catcher has been Townsend's number one target this season and leads the team in passes received with Melvins becoming the teams leading scorer.
Mega Smashers:
Nilbog Tea 'n Tea ~ Has to be in the shortlist simply for the fact that Tea 'n Tea became the leagues smallest ever scorer and becoming a Smashers legend in the process.
OrcaLoca:
Varag Arapcul ~ The veteran black orc has had a target above his head ever since his debut and is consistently one of the leagues best pain givers in the last two seasons with this season being no different and stands out alone in the death stakes and is the teams leading casualty taker.
Spikerøg Draaks:
Olaf Thornson ~ The norse runner has been a revelation for the bareskins and at times has single handedly dragged his team over the line. He's the teams leading scorer and rusher along with one of the leagues best knock out specialist.
Underearth Assassins:
Hethmair ~ The dark elf runner has had a stellar season for the Assassins and is the leagues leading passer and tops the charts in both pass completions and passing yards and is also the teams leading rusher.
Each coach to write down their three players IN ORDER and post to either Riska or Mango with results to be announced once ALL coaches have had their vote.
