QMLS XII Ballon C'law Award For Most Valuable Player.

The nominations for the best player of Season XII is upon us and it's a list that celebrates the finest ballplayers and killers in the QMLS.

Below are the Final Dirty Dozen who excelled - and survived - throughout the season. There were record-breaking campaigns from individuals that complimented the record-breaking campaign of three-time winners Hashutites.

Each coach has three casting votes of the three players that they think deservedly to be named QMLS XII MVP.

Each coach to write down their three players IN ORDER of preference and post to either Riska or Mango Fandango with results to be announced once ALL coaches have had their vote.

Coaches cannot vote for their own players.

Adohimundimatz (Golden Eternals of Chaqua) - Saurus

3 cas, 3 KOs, 3 tackles

The preseason favourites had a lot to thank “Ado” for, as the mighty saurus had the campaign to remember for the blueskins and was instrumental in the cold blood's run to the Quarterfinals. Though disappointingly for Ado and his teammates that’s as far as they got as their season was cut short.

Bazinga (Lochaotic Rotten Posse) - Pestigor

3 TDs, 1 kill, 5 cas, 92 yards rush

Little was known about the first-ever Nurgle team to grace the MiddleLands. But after a campaign that saw them reach the quarterfinals, Bazinga the pestigor shone to become the teams leading scorer and will certainly be a player to keep an eye on in the future.

Fharikk Deadface (Hashutites) – Blocker

11 cas, 7 KOs

For the second consecutive season, star mutant Deadface makes the list as the reigning champions yet again proved to be unstoppable as they registered yet another undefeated season to reach their fourth consecutive final with Deadface leading the way having shown last season was no fluke.

Hethmair (Underearth Assassins) – Runner

1 TD, 9 passes for 120 yards, 210 yards rush.

Making the shortlist for consecutive seasons is a major achievement for any player and Hethmair thoroughly deserves his place with another superb season in which he led the team all the way to the semi-finals but even his two touchdowns in that game weren’t enough as it ended in a dramatic overtime defeat against the champions.

Nurgable Nager (The Warpstone-Union) – Storm Vermin

1 kill, 5 cas, 5 KOs

Another new name on the list comes from the unfancied underworld team, but storm-vermin Nager proved to be a serious thorn in many an oppositions side as he almost single-handedly took the Union to the playoffs only to falter in the last game but after an impressive rookie season, he certainly going to be a marked rat.

Ögedei (Hashutites) – Hobgoblin

4 TDs, 3 passes for 50 yards, 2 receptions, 280 yards rush

Another familiar name making the list proving that not all slaves are fodder for their respective teams and Ögedei has proved just that with another stellar season from deep for the champions.

Paulie Dahlberg (Dwarverhampton Wanderers) – Runner

2 TDs, 3 passes, 1 cas, 150 yards rush.

The return of Dwarverhampton was met with much adulation especially the Dahlberg twins and it was Paulie who showed glimpses of what they can achieve with some exceptional running plays which will make them a threat again next season.

Ptahsut Djahor (EcuKhemrical Matters) – Blitz-Ra

2 kills, 11 casualties, 11 KOs, 3 tackles, 1 TD, 14 yards rush

Star player Djahor has been simply irresistible this season as the tomb kings have swept all opposition aside on their way to their first Superleague final and has become one of the most feared players in the entire league.

Ptahsut Tabra (EcuKhemrical Matters) – Throw-Ra

3 TDs, 2 cas, 208 yards rush

Thro-Ra Tabra has once again impressed to make the shortlist for a second consecutive season pulling the strings to what has turned into a superb season for the ancient ones and their formidable offensive cage.

Robbie Fowler (Mersey Scythe) - Ghoul

3TDs, 3 passes, 2 receptions, 214 yards rush

The unknown quantity that was Mersey Sythe proved tough opposition for all they faced and with Fowler lying deep had a player who had the ability to sniff out an opportunity at any point in a game.

Scalptuk (Kouillus) – Gutter Runner

7 TDs, 8 receptions, 208 rushing yards

The new skaven menace surprised all on their way to making it all the way to the semi-finals in their first season with some scintillating spike ball but in Scalptuk, Kouillus has probably the most feared player in the league with his breathtaking speed.

Steven Gerrard (Mersey Scythe) - Werewolf

1 kill, 7 cas, 1 pass, 1 reception

In Steven Gerrard, the newly formed necromantic team had one of the best all-round players in the league and he didn’t disappoint as he helped them reach the quarterfinals at the first time of asking with pace, agility and lethal claws making him a player to fear.

The Deadline for voting is Sunday 12th July.
