Lustful Vampires Romp To Maiden Win

Updated: Jun 14, 2019

Crescent Moon 3

Abu Bakr, Umar (2)

The Caliph's finest dined on Amazonian flesh after a romping home with a 3-0 win to remain in the hunt for the play-offs. It was the most fitting iftar for the starved vampires as they feasted on friend and foe at their leisure to leave the blood soaked pitch with a much needed victory and fill the harem of their overlords with the new tantalising exotic deceased Lustrians.

Heading in to the match with no TDs, no points and (almost) no hope, Crescent Moon played with a swagger likely induced by the ample amount of bosom and buttocks on display. Chants of, "Too much bone and not enough blood" ringed throughout the match and that sent the vampires into an angry overdrive.

The violence certainly appeased the onlookers, as they watched with vehement pleasure the handwork of Ali's mighty blows of the first half, and the nimble footwork of Umar's two defensive touchdowns in the second.

Ali's forceful display shredded through the Lustrian ladies to allow Abu Bakr a swipe at the ball and free it from the grasp of Tereis Eavdne. The injuries kept mounting as the vampires persisted on removing resistance, whilst sacrificing teammates, but the killing of Antianara the Dancer by Umar was clearly the turning point of the contest as the powerful blitzer was the most likely femme fatale to keepthe bashing game an honest one.

Once Abu Bakr scored and with the great mighty blow threat gone, the Crescent Moon found added vigour within their limbs (and loins) and they advanced under Umar's supreme ball-handling skills. It did not matter to the vampires that both sides were reduced to 6-a-side, as damage maximisation was manifested with this most rampant orgy to give them a crack at a top 4 spot that looked a distant prospect just 1 week ago.

The game changed from the moment the key blitzer was killed.

Meanwhile, Amazone Prime will be distressed by the loss of a key player as well as trying to recover from such an ugly mauling. They remain firmly in the hunt for a play-off berth.

Mango's Valuable Player: Umar, the vampire killed Prime's danger-woman, which effectively swung the game. His fine second half display was well rewarded with 2 touchdowns.

Celestial Comedy 2

Upadgalad Augglinarin, Imthoron Elenelwa

The Comedians made a mockery of early season predictions as they charged to the top of the table with a pristine win record. Another impressive shut-out was the foundation to their fifth win on the bounce.

Upadgalad was in irresistible form in win.

The fans felt short-changed by the sheer lack of blood spilled, as this encounter will be recorded in the annuls of the QMLS as the very first bloodless contest in history. The fans roared their displeasure near the end of the match to force the referee to blow the whistle and troupe the players off field.

A much improved offensive drive from the Darklands did threaten to upset the pre-match predictions as the wights and skeletons provided strong coverage around the most peculiar ball carrier - the Mummy Smekhkare the Tyrant, who picked up the touchback after a poor kick.

The restless crowd were frustrated by the lack of blood spilt.

The Elves struggled to cope with tearing down the huge obstacle, so resorted to play keep away from the great benemoth and played for time. The defensive ploy worked at the expense of 4 knocked out defenders, but the Celestials went into the break the more pleased side.

Their pleasure was fully realised straight from the kick-off with the Pro Elves scoring a fine passing and moving display to stretch the Darklands defenders and allow Upadgalad Augglinarin to breeze through with ball in hand to break the deadlock.

The Undead tried to vent their frustration on their opponents but routinely self-inflicted mishaps enabled the Elves to capitalise. Helmut the wight, a former human thrower, was most culpable with 2 spilled pick ups. His incompetance forced the ghouls to scramble and play hot potato, only for Marrowravager to drop his catch in plain sight of the defenders.

Upadgalad took full advantage of the situation with an important pick up and danced his way to set up fellow catcher Imthoron Elenelwa for the steal and take a massive 2-0 victory.

The "highlight" reel came to "life" in the second half.

Darklands Resurrected will feel hard done by, but they continue to improve. The Celestials, once again, showed their powerful offensive credentials and will need a major drop in form to crash out of the play-off berths.

The Divisional QMLS title is hotly contested by 3 teams with 100% records. And next up for the Comedy are their sworn enemies - the Underearth Assassins.

Mango's Valuable Player: Upadgalad Augglinarin scored 1 and set up 1 TD after some fine work to steal the ball away.
