Hashutites Seal Commanding Win Over Submissive Assassins

Underearth Assaassins 1

Mortlil

Bultar the Great, Ögedei

Fears of fielding additional hobgoblins to replace 2 key dwarfs were allayed as Hashutites flexed their championship credentials in an overpowering performance against their luckless hosts. The win surges the Chaos Dwarfs to the top of the league, whilst leaving the Assassins winless in the new season.

The early exchanges unravelled the Underearth's gameplan from the off as the Elves saw 3 players removed with barely a quarter of the game complete. The awful luck began with Möngke fracturing the hyper frenzied witches arm as she went berserk looking for someone to maim.

Zargon the dwarf then murdered the promising Andryel to ratchet up the numerical supremacy, opening holes for Bultar to exploit, an invitation the stunning centaur accepted with a crushing sack in the backfield to damage quarterback Hethmair's back!

Fear spread through the elven ranks, and they sought to swiftly score to regroup. Hashutites almost ensnared the offensive drive, but Talbrior rescued the situation as he collected the loose ball and hand off to Lanrion. The witch's sacrifice earned a gap in the Chorfs defence, and Lanrion found Mortlil in empty space to pass to and take home for the early lead.

Hashutites were unruffled by their defensive banks being broken and they begun in earnest to pummel more punishment on the beleaguered Dark Elves. The freakishly clawed Fharikk injured Krybean to resume the devastating vollies of heavy hits, whilst Ferdinand III showed promise that neither of his predecessors showed with a KO on playmaker Lanrion.

The unscathed Hashutites feigned left to stretch the elven defenders and the ruse succeeded as they forced the defenders to dodge and take risks to get back into position. Time and again the elves failed, to leave gaping holes. When Fharlikk injured Celmair, it became a case for self-preservation for the steampunk-costumed Assasssins and ran for cover to allow Bultar the simplest task of equalising.

Underearth Assassins restarted 5 players down for the second half and they had to suffer the onslaught of the rolling Hashutite scrum. The heavily armoured cage rolled left and deflected all attampts to reaching the ball.

The procession to the endzone was inevitable with the match-winning touchdown scored by Ögedei under a guard of honour. It was unlike the menacing dwarfs to show a gentle side, but their fondness for this particular slave was abundantly clear in plain view.

The Assassins, unnerved by this bruising encounter, had the slim chance to set up a late late equaliser and set up aggressively, abandoning ball protection for a 5 wide streak. Only the quarterback did not read the memo and he unfathomably kept the ball rather than release!

His indecision costed the small hopes for an equaliser, and the Hashutites once again showed a surprising amount of sportsmanship by mercifully not smashing their pointy-eared foes.

Hashutites did not miss the presence of 2 dwarfs, but will be delighted to have them back as they anticipate a tough encounter against the lizardmen of Chaqua, whilst it doesn't get any easier foe the Underearth Assassins as they face the hungry greenskins, OrcaLoca.

Mango's Valuable Player: Fharikk Dyingfeet showed why he is the most feared player in the QMLS with another set of highlight reel hits to set up a dominant line that bullied their hosts to submission.
